What could be more difficult than knowing the right thing but refuses to do it?
What can we make of leadership that does not believe in collective advancements of the people?
What would it benefits a nation who refuses to give proper guidance to its youth in their formative year?
Is Nigeria deserve the kind of leadership it has been having in the past?
FELA sang of Authority Stealing, Vagabonds in Power, Sorrow, Tears and Blood# Their Regular Trade Mark!
The can of worms continued to be opened, and we continue with our mouth opened unbelievably at how deep we’ve sank.
Our so called leaders past and partly present had made us a very difficult people.
The solution is truthful, transparent, purposeful leadership that thinks of people first. In particular take care of our youth in their formative years and grant adequate care to our elders who had served with their sweat.
Plus making provision for turning our able ones from employment seekers to industrialists and wealth makers. Then we’ll know we’ve gotten committed leadership. President Muhammadu Buhari. OVER TO YOU!
Yorubas have seen the very best of govenance right from pre independence to post independence Nigeria. Chief Obafemi Awolowo who spearheaded the effort to move the western region as first among other regions did it wholeheartedly.
It was in that era that the words were coined. ‘Oselu and ojelu’. Those who govern serving the people against those who govern serving personal interest.
Nationally for over fifteen years, what we got in governance are the ojelus, those that milk the cow dry. What is it they’ve not done?
It is really that bad. The thing is no matter how smart you think you can fool people, you will definately end up fooling yourself big time. They have come to the end of their game. Nigerians are wiser than all the OJELUS.
PDP government apart from the time of President Umoru Musa Yaradua who had a brief responsive government, the era of President Olusegun Obasanjo and that of President Goodluck Jonathan are era of ‘ojelu’. All they know is to “share the money”. Their call is a call to “come and eat”.
Now the power has changed hand to oselu, those who have come to deliever the goodies to the people. Though there is skeptism among the people. They are not sure if the CHANGE is real or not.
Once beaten twice shy. In fact the people have been beaten for far too long. One can understand their fear. It was that fear that resulted to voting aparty. Desperados would do anything to stay in power.
But today, Nigerians are happy apart from some section who are deeply sentimental. Happy to have our new incoming President Mohammadu Buhari. #NigeriansDesides to have “A REAL OSELU” of APC. The man on a journey to collectively create a NEW NIGERIA.
